Sean holds a Bachelor of Music in Composition/Theory and Performance from Virginia Commonwealth University. Sean is an accomplished composer, harp guitar player, guitarist and stringed instrument player. He is classically trained. Studying with Dr. Robert Reinhardt at the Shenandoah Conservatory and completing his undergraduate study with Dr. Loren Carrier, Alan Blank, Dr. Dika Newlin, James Moore, John Patykula and Jesus Silva at Virginia Commonwealth University. He Currently resides in Houston, Texas where he continues to compose and play music. Currently totally engrossed in the harp guitar and loving every minute. Sean performs original instrumental compositions on vintage Knutsen and Dyer harp guitars.
Sean discovered the harp guitar in the late 80's after seeing guitarist/composer Michael Hedges perform his unique "New Edge" style compositions on the instrument.
